Andre azevedo said on the sixth round podcast he is hearing rumors Mauricio ruffys next fight will be against Bobby green. That would be an absurd push but really fun fight

Ruffy looks the part. Demolished a 10 fight UFC vet with no effort. That's a huge step up but a favorable match stylistically. Him and Bobby will just chuck knucks.

Really hope that one happens.

He did look very good but mullarkey was also the perfect matchup for him to look elite; brawler who won’t wrestle, with a shot chin and no defense. You could also make the argument mullarkey is now 1-6 in his last 7 (robbery wins over mj and makdessi). Ruffy def looked great but I want to see him face someone real before getting a top 15. I like the guy but just last year he got faceplanted by an 11-6 guy, so I don’t know if he is really that legit yet

I need names of everyone who does the rankings because them putting Aldo at #8 is dumb as ****. He should be ahead of chito

Well I guess Aldo is getting resigned? Not gonna lie I'm not a fan of this move. He has nothing left to prove in MMA. Unless all that boxing talk was just posturing to get into a better negotiating position I just don't see the point here.

If Aldo is back and wants some legacy fights against guys like Cejudo, Figgy and Cruz, ok. But the idea hes gonna go on some late career title run like Glover seems crazy farfetched. 

If he couldn't beat Yan or Merab +2 years ago there's no way he's doing it as he gets that much closer to 40.

Unless they’ve agreed to let him have boxing matches as well I don’t see why he would resign. I’d be interested in him fighting cejudo, Cruz or aljo but outside of that I’m not sure. He can crack the top 5 but for him to get near a title he would have to avoid a lot of that top 5. Corey, yann, merhab are bad matchups for him

I wouldn't be surprised one bit if with one more win they let Aldo jump the line and get a title shot against Suga, just for Suga to ko or 50-44 him and keep his stock rising.

Gable Stevenson’s manager said he has been spending time at Kill Cliff training mma 

His manager also said he has many different options to pursue. Still looking at mma but he has recheved tryout offers from NFL teams as well. Will be interesting to see where he ends up; I really hope he chooses the mma path, he could dominate the heavyweight divison

Anthony Smith said he declined a fight offer after his win at 301.  I wonder if the UFC realizes how badly everyone wants to see him fight Guskov.  The ultimate memeable fight.

Also Gable Stevenson v. Robelis would be an insane fight
