I like fights, always have. Haven't been in too many myself but of course I know a thing or two. I actually started out hating the sport of mma though. Why? For a time it was too much for me and the face of the whole show was none other than the Huntington Beach Bad Boy, Tito Ortiz. Wasn't a good first impression, but in a few short years and a few minutes of channel surfing I stumbled upon a show called the ultimate fighter. Season 7 you ask? Hell, Yes. If you think there is a better mma personality than Rampage please point them out... so I can dismember your fingers. If it wasnt for that season I wouldn't care much, if at all, for this sport. Better yet if it wasn't for Rampage's amazing highlight asswhoopinz and his Knockout of Liddell I wouldn't really understand what the sport was. I went from watching every episode I could of that season to waiting for the next events to happen to knowing who the fighters are to knowing the schedule of the events to knowing everything about the event to knowing the intricacies of the sport. Can you tell that this is my favorite sport? ****, Tennis use to be my favorite sport and I'd follow it from time to time, finding epic matches, but as time progressed it fell by the wayside. Now MMA is the ONLY sport i follow and my friend and I are patiently awaiting it's arival in New York. I mean, I'd like to go to at least one event and not have to drive for hours. I'm only a college student, unsure where I'll go, but hopefully I can land a career where I can travel wherever I want -- that's not how the world works nor was that relevant but it was a smooth transition to... oooooooooo-- I'd like to see MMA(more specifically the UFC) explode in Asia (Korea, Japan), East Europe, and Africa. I feel like there's treasure troves of untapped Grade A Talent laying in suspension in these territories. We all know that sports is a quick way to bring wealth and stability to athletes of poorer areas and it would sensationalize the areas of these new hot shots adding to everyone's well being. I see big things MMA can do, and I'll be standing by every step of the way.
